After spending over twenty years working in marketing comunications in the computer industry, I was drawn to holistic therapies through the experiences of a close family member undergoing treatment for cancer.
Having trained initially in reiki, I qualified in massage with ITEC (Integrated Therapies Examination Council). The extensive training in anatomy and physiology included in the course was absolutely fascinating and prompted me to take further training in Remedial and Sports Injury Massage with the SEED Institute (aromatherapy and complementary medicine school). I also hold a postgraduate certificate in Soft Tissue Release (STR) technique and a diploma in Hot Stones Massage.

Because I believe that therapists should be appropriately qualified and regulated, I have joined the GRCCT (The General Regulatory Council For Complementary Therapies), which is a voluntary body for the regulation of complementary therapists in the UK. GRCCT Registration Number: 642105.
